I guess this is where I introduce a little about myself (I won't go into too much detail as it could get a little long winded)
Firstly, I am Steph, currently living in the Midlands in a quaint little town about 45 minutes from Birmingham. It's nice enough, it could be worse, but like a lot of places, it could be better...
I am an A level student in my last year studying English Literature/Language, Media Studies and French, i am aspiring to go to university in the next year and am a bit undecided between to different universities. I'd like to go into journalism so that is the course i have applied for, and hopefully will be the job i will be doing in three years time. I am actually 3 years behind as for those years I could not decide what i wanted to do, I stayed on at my high school at the sixth form and hated it,n the next school year I went to live in France for a year, which I can honestly say was the best year of my life, along with spending time with my beautiful family (more info later) I met a wonderful French man (yes, they are just as romantic as in the films)and had the chance to make my french that little bit better (I was already fluent but managed to get up to date lingo etc.). I didnt actually want to leave France but had to for my studies as I am quite academic, the French man came with me and here we are back in England and I've finally managed to reach the second year of A levels!
A little fact about myself, I am half french and I love it. In fact, I wish I was a little more French, the sophisticated, laid back way approach to life is not only one that is seen when you go on holiday but is actually a way of life. My mother is french (thus why I am half french) my father is English and throughout my life gone back and forth between England and France and quite honestly I wouldnt change it for the world, at the end of the day it has made me who I am, and I could be a lot worse. Now my parents are seperated and both remarried, my mother still lives in England and my father now live in France along with my two little sisters who I adore. Along with these two little munchkins I also have a brother who is two years younger than me.
I have a part time job working in a superstore chain which honestly is not what I want to be doing after 2012! But it passes the time for now and gets me money to do the things I want.
I love my music, there isnt a specific genre i am more fond of I just love having it on and having someone singing to me, thanks to my Dad I have quite a wide knowledge of music (especially 80's) and know what I like. I also love to watch films, I am a huge film buff, I can sit all day watching film after film after film, theres something about being drawn into that world which just makes me feel great. I also enjoy food, I don't mean that I am a fatty boom boom! I enjoy food, the French man is a chef which makes him that little bit more special, I try anything and most of the time love everything.
I have friends, like everyone, but i can name them all on one hand the ones that i know i can count on, and i'm sure if most people really think about it, they are in the same position. When i mean someone you can count on, i dont mean the ones that will take you out everyday of the week getting you drunk and having a laugh (of course, they are fun friends to have. I'm on about the ones that do all that fun stuff with you, but also know you well, they know when theres something wrong and are the first one at the scene to make you feel that little bit better.
So there you go, just a little introduction of myself, from now I will just be updating what is happening in my ife and introducing the varied characters that feature in the play that is my life.
Any questions are welcome, or simply anyone who wants a chat, I'll be here most days and will be happy to receive a little hello =)
Wow, that is a great intro! quand je pense que ne sais même pas quoi mettre dans mon profil! bisous
